CSSF headquarters in Luxembourg;
The Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) has released a statement encouraging all financial institutions to continue having its staff working from home.
Further to the confirmation by the Luxembourg government, on 15 April 2020, that the lockdown will be extended with limited exceptions until at least 25 May, the CSSF has urged all financial institutions under its scope to continue favouring working from home.
As already mentioned in its communications of 2 March and 17 March, satisfactory IT security conditions should be guaranteed and no prior authorisation is needed for such work arrangements.
The CSSF has also confirmed that it will reassess its advice accordingly following the Luxembourg government's reassessment of the situation after 11 May.
