LuxFLAG has announced that three investment funds have been granted a LuxFLAG Label for the first time, all three effective from 16 June 2016:
• Symbiotics SICAV (Lux) - SEB Microfinance Fund III has been granted the LuxFLAG Microfinance Label;
• Mirova Eurofideme III has been granted the LuxFLAG Environment Label;
• Dasos Timberland Fund II has been granted the LuxFLAG ESG Label.
LuxFLAG has also renewed the ESG Label for Active Earth Fund – Global Equity Opportunities.
Altogether LuxFLAG labels 48 funds (28 Microfinance, 10 Environment, 10 ESG funds) as of 16 June 2016.
LuxFLAG’s Annual General Meeting took place on 16 June 2016 in the Luxembourg House of Finance. Thomas Seale, Chairman of LuxFLAG, presented an overview of activities carried out by the agency in 2015-16, with 2015 seeing an increase of 15% in labelled funds, and a 200% in funds under the ESG label since 2014. The Chairman announced that the 10 Year Anniversary event will take place at the European Investment Bank in autumn 2016.
