Following its Board meeting on Wednesday 1 July 2026, the Luxembourg Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (LPEA) confirmed the composition of its Executive Committee (ExCom) for 2026 and announced the appointment of Gautier Laurent of Cinven as Vice-President.

Hind El Gaidi of ICG continues to serve as President of the LPEA.

As part of the association's annual governance cycle, Gautier Laurent succeeds Hans-Jürgen Schmitz of Mangrove Capital Partners as Vice-President. Hans-Jürgen Schmitz, a co-founder of the LPEA, remains a member of the Executive Committee following his re-election. EY Luxembourg, represented by Laurent Capolaghi, continues to hold the association's second Vice-President position.

The LPEA Board also elected Valerie Tixier of PwC to the Executive Committee, replacing Giuliano Bidoli of BC Partners. Martine Kerschenmeyer of Advent International and Claude de Raismes of Wendel have renewed their mandates as Executive Committee members.

LPEA President Hind El Gaidi commented: "I warmly congratulate Gautier Laurent on his appointment as Vice-President of the Executive Committee. Gautier has been an active and committed member of the LPEA for many years, and I look forward to working even more closely with him in his new role.” She added: "I am also delighted to welcome Valerie Tixier to the Executive Committee and to congratulate Martine Kerschenmeyer and Claude de Raismes on the renewal of their mandates. Together, we will continue to advance the LPEA's strategic priorities and support the continued growth of Luxembourg's Private Markets ecosystem."

LPEA CEO Stéphane Pesch added: "I would like to congratulate Gautier Laurent on his appointment as Vice-President and thank Hans-Jürgen Schmitz for his continued commitment to the Executive Committee.” He added: "I also wish to express my sincere appreciation to Giuliano Bidoli for his outstanding contribution to the Executive Committee and the Board, and in particular for his leadership of the LPEA Tax Committee and Public Affairs Group. Giuliano has played an instrumental role in advancing several of the association's key initiatives, and we are grateful for his dedication and lasting impact on the LPEA."

The ExCom, composed of twelve members, acts as the executive body of the LPEA. It includes the President, two Vice-Presidents, a Secretary, a Treasurer, the LPEA CEO and other members elected by the Board of Directors.

Working closely with the CEO, the ExCom helps define and implement the association's strategic priorities and supports the delivery of its mission. The Board of Directors may also assign specific responsibilities to the ExCom and its members in accordance with the association's articles.
