22-Year-Old Student Secures CEO for One Month Position in Luxembourg

The Adecco Group Luxembourg has selected 22-year-old Beatriz Marin Dawid to be its "CEO for One Month" this summer.

After a recruitment process spanning several weeks, Beatriz Marin Dawid was chosen for this year's CEO for One Month programme. In her new role, Ms Dawid will follow the daily life of Fabrice Poncé, CEO of The Adecco Group Luxembourg, under the direct supervision of The Adecco Group CEO Alain Dehaze. For one month, she will get a glimpse into how to run a multinational company with 34,000 employees in 60 countries.

The CEO for One Month programme takes place in over 40 countries, where the first step is to apply to become CEO for One Month in the applicant's country of residence, before being shortlisted as one of the top 10 applicants. Out of the final ten candidates, one will be chosen to become "CEO for One Month worldwide". 

Luxembourg laureate Beatriz Marin Dawid, a 22-year-old student of the University of Cambridge and graduate of the International School of Luxembourg (ISL), commented: “It was extremely unexpected for me, and I applied I never thought I would really end up working alongside Fabrice Ponce. It is an incredible opportunity - I am so thankful for the TAG group in Luxembourg to going through with the programme despite challenging and uncertain times and choosing me as their candidate". 

The Adecco Group Luxembourg CEO Fabrice Poncé added: "Certainly the arrival of the coronavirus has forced us to adapt our 'CEO for 1 Month' programme to develop a new 100% digital selection process, in order to leave all the chances to all candidates and thus avoid travels. The final selection was made from among many candidates in Luxembourg who are still as talented and motivated".

For three weeks, Beatriz Marin Dawid has been spending her time with the different members of the Management Committee and taking part in several strategic meetings in which she has played an active role and contributed to the projects of the group's three brands: Adecco, Badenoch + Clark and Spring Professional.
