Deloitte Luxembourg announced today that as of October 2015, Jan van Delden, Audit Partner at Deloitte Luxembourg, will lead the company's activities for the German-speaking market in the Grand Duchy.

Within the role, van Delden will work closely with other German-speaking partners at the Luxembourg branch, such as Christian Bednarczyk, Tax Partner, or Simon Ramos, Partner in Advisory & Consulting. They are all members of the German Business Community (GBC) which focuses on trends and developments in the germanophone market in Luxembourg.

Jan van Delden will assume the position from his predecessor Ruth Bültmann who held the role for over four years and has now decided to pursue another career outside the firm as of 1 October 2015.

"The German-speaking market in Luxembourg remains a priority for our firm," commented Managing Partner at Deloitte Luxembourg, Yves Francis, who last week was appointed to the Global Board of Directors. "We know that Jan is a strong leader who will leverage further on our successes and continue to enlarge our presence in the German-speaking market. I would also like to thank Ruth for her excellent work. She has been pivotal in developing our activities and strengthening our relationships with our clients over the last four and a half years. Thanks to her work, our firm is well-placed to deliver a broad range of services to this important market. We wish her all the best in her new role".
