Luxembourg's Consumer Protection Directorate (DPC) has launched a new interactive map named “One Map, Many Support Services!”, which provides information on consumer protection services in the Greater Region.
On the occasion of Europe Day on Saturday 9 May 2026, the “Network for Cross Border Economic Consumer Protection in the Greater Region” is drawing attention to its new interactive map, which lists a range of advisory services relating to economic consumer protection, noted the directorate.
From now on, people seeking advice can identify at a glance cross border contact points throughout the Greater Region, as well as a range of support services for all matters linked to consumer protection. The map provides information on local advisory structures, their contact details, areas of expertise and the languages in which enquiries can be handled.
“In a region marked by extensive cross border exchanges, cooperation between partners is essential to guide consumers effectively. This interactive map is a practical tool that helps citizens to identify more easily, including beyond borders, the advisory and support services suited to their situation,” said Martine Hansen, Luxembourg’s Minister for Consumer Protection.
The interactive map was developed as part of cross border cooperation between the partner regions of the “Network for Cross Border Economic Consumer Protection in the Greater Region” and the Secretariat of the Greater Region. It is available in German, French and English. The map is accessible free of charge via here.
The “Network for Cross Border Economic Consumer Protection in the Greater Region”, which has existed since 2024, aims to improve framework conditions for consumers in a cross border context within the Greater Region. In addition to providing information in German and French, it seeks to connect consumer protection stakeholders and services, develop solutions to cross border issues and implement joint actions across the Greater Region.
