On Tuesday 12 July 2022, Luxembourg's F91 Dudelange won through to the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League 2022-23.

The Luxembourg champions defeated FC Tirana of Albania 3-1 on aggregate, following a 2-1 away win in Tirana and a 1-0 home win over the same side in the first leg the previous week, courtesy of the only goal of the game scored by Mohcine Hassan on 71 minutes.

At half-time on Tuesday, there was still all to play for with the match scoreless. However, Bojic (49 mins) and Sinani (61 mins) put the tie beyond doubt with two goals in a twelve-minute spell, with the home side netting a consolation goal courtesy of Xhixha with just twelve minutes left on the clock.

F91 Dudelange will now meet Pyunik of Armenia (who won through on Wednesday evening against CFR 1907 Cluj of Romania, on penalties after the first leg was scoreless and Wednesday’s second leg finished 2-2 after extra time) in the second qualifying round, with the first leg to be played away on Tuesday 19 July 2022 and the second, in Luxembourg, on Tuesday 26 July 2022.
