On Tuesday 29 March 2022, Luxembourg played the second of two friendly games in the international football window away to Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Bilino Polje stadium in Zenica.

The only goal of the relatively low-key game came in the 86th minute courtesy of Bosnia's captain, Edin Dzeko, who plays for Inter Milan; he scored with his left boot from inside the box. While the home side had one player booked, Luxembourg picked up three yellow cards, for fouls by Gerson Rodrigues, Vahid Selimovic and Vincent Thill (who had come on to replace Danel Sinani).

Luxembourg's manager, Luc Holtz, made five changes from the team that lost 0-3 at home to Northern Ireland on Thursday evening, with Vahid Selimovic, Florian Bohnert, Mathias Oelsen, Christopher Martins Pereira and Sebastien Thill all starting.

Luxembourg's next game is on 4 June 2022 in the UEFA Nations League when they play their first match away to Lithuania (who lost 1-0 away to the Republic of Ireland in a friendly yesterday evening).
