On Monday 3 June 2024, Film Fund Luxembourg reported that its selection committee met for its second session of the year from 27 to 31 May 2024.

The selection committee analysed a total of 33 film projects, of which 25 will receive selective financial support from Film Fund Luxembourg, amounting to almost €11.9 million.

A total of nine live-action feature films, four animated feature films, four feature-length documentaries, two live-action series, one documentary series, two short live-action films, one short animated film, one virtual reality (VR) project and one transmedia project will receive financial support for writing and/or development and production.

This includes funding for the production of the following eight projects by Luxembourg directors: season five of the series Move! by Julie Schroell, Eileen Byrne and Yann Tonnar; the animated feature film Dudley and the Invasion of the Space Slugs by Bakhti Chérifa; the documentary Ora et Labora by Dzhovani Gospodinov; the documentary Le Cas Norbert Jacques by Claude Lahr; the documentary Luxembourg 1940: L'Énigme Hoiningen by Grégory Goethals; the transmedia project Radio Luxembourg by Dominique Santana; the short film I Will Be Alright! by Cyrus Neshvad; the short film The Shoe by Solveig Harper.
