Film Fund Luxembourg has announced that on Tuesday 28 July, following a two-day process, its selection committee has decided to fund a number of film projects.
The committee analysed a total of 10 film projects, of which 4 concern support for script-writing and 6 which concern support for production, for a total of €11,121,535, as requested.
In addition, it also decided to provide selective financial support worth €7,230,000 to four specific film projects as follows:
For script-writing and development, for a total of €30,000:
- De Krootzelklupp, €30,000 - an animation series with writer-director Jacopo Armani and production company Doghouse Films.
For production, for a total of €7,200,000
- Croc Blanc, €3,000,000 - a feature film (fiction) with director Alexandre Espigares and co-production company Bidibul Productions.
- Luis & his friends from outer space, €1,900,000 - a feature film (animation) with writers-directors Christoph Lauenstein, Wolfgang Lauenstein and Sean Mc Cormack and co-production company Fabrique d’Images
- Barrage, €2,300,000 - a feature film (fiction) with script-writers Laura Schroeder and Marie Nimier, and director Laura Schroeder and production company Red Lion.
The selection committee is composed of Jean-Louis Scheffen (President), Guy Daleiden, Boyd van Hoeij, Karin Schockweiler, Rachel Schmid and Sébastien Tasch (Committee Secretary)
