Film Fund Luxembourg has opened applications for the 2026-2027 CICLIC Residency, an international programme supporting the development of feature film projects by writer-director and producer teams.

Applications are open until 12:00 on Sunday 12 July 2026. According to Film Fund Luxembourg, six projects will be selected to take part in the residency, which will be held in Centre-Val de Loire (France) and Luxembourg. The programme is designed to help participants develop their feature film projects, refine their visual approach, connect with leading European film professionals and explore environmentally sustainable filmmaking practices.

Each project must be submitted by a writer-director and producer duo. Projects must have a link to either Luxembourg or France's Centre-Val de Loire region through the residence of the writer-director, the location of the production company or previous support from Ciclic Centre-Val de Loire.

The residency is open exclusively to fiction and animated feature film projects intended for international co-production. Documentary projects are not eligible, while priority will be given to first and second feature films.

The first residency session will take place in Cangey, France, from 7 to 11 December 2026, followed by a second session in Luxembourg in April 2027. The programme will conclude with a pitching session at When East Meets Westin Trieste, Italy, in January 2028.

English will be the working language throughout the programme. Accommodation and meals will be provided by the organisers, while participants will be responsible for their own travel expenses.
