Kollibri Asbl has announced the lineup of the 2026 edition of the annual festival “Koll an Aktioun” which will take place during the Pentecost weekend from Friday 22 to Sunday 24 May 2025 at the Musée de l’Ardoise (Slate Museum) in Haut-Martelange.
For three days, the site will become a cultural space filled with concerts, workshops, street performances, exhibitions, a creators’ market, food areas and many spontaneous moments that do not always fit neatly into a timetable, noted the organisers.
Koll an Aktioun has operated since 2014 as a collective project led by a dedicated group of volunteers known as “the Kollibris”, organised across a dozen working groups. The festival brings together music, art, community and engagement in a shared cultural space.
“Koll” serves as both a meeting place and a space for connection, for the organisers as well as visitors. The festival reflects a year round creative process shaped by new ideas, evolving environments and the people who join the project along the way.
Friday is aimed at those who “cannot wait for the festival to begin”, according to the organisers. The programme will offer one stage, two bars and several surprises throughout the evening. Set in the former lumber mill (scierie), the opening night will include five concerts ranging from punk to metal, featuring Axxident, Drogher, Sleepers' Guilt, Ultra Nothing and Godsub.
The full festival site will open on Saturday at 16:00, bringing together music, dance, performances, cinema and more. Visitors can expect street spectacles, live concerts and even a secret act inside the slate mine.
Six concerts across two locations will take audiences from punk to electronica, with a line-up featuring BBY, Aaron Ahrends, MAZ Univerze, Ultraworld, Emily Grogan and Waffle Killers.
Sunday will bring a more relaxed atmosphere centred on family friendly entertainment and activities for all ages. The programme will include clown shows, workshops, a carousel and performances across the festival grounds, alongside six live acts at two venues, with artists including Iguana Death Cult, Ikan Hyu, Seed to Tree, Man/Woman/Chainsaw, Le Vibe and Bad Luck Baby, covering genres from indie and folk to rock.
The organisers also announced that they are stepping away from the social media, arguing that the pressure to constantly produce online content and remain visible through algorithms no longer aligns with the festival’s values. Instead, the association said it will rely more heavily on word of mouth and support from audiences, artists and cultural actors. More information is available on kollanaktioun.org.
