The Rotondes in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie will host three different dance events this coming week, as follows:
- Mon 4 March 2024 @ 19:00 - 22:30: Swing Social Dance
Organised by Swing Dance Luxembourg Asbl, this indoor social dance includes a beginner taster class from 19:30 to 20:30, open to anyone interested in learning more about swing dancing. The event is free of charge and the taster class is open to beginners.

- Wed 6 March 2024 @ 19:30: House Dance (open floor)
House Dance is a social dance to House music that mixes salsa, capoeira, tap-dancing, bboying, etc. It appeared in the 1970s and 1980s in clubs in Chicago and New York. The House Dance that is practiced here is improvised and emphasises fast and complex steps, bounces and floor work. Organised by KnowEdge Asbl, the event is held in French and English every Wednesday.
19:30 - 20:30: Initiation House Dance - Learn the foundations of House Dance with Dimey, a dancer and teacher recognised in the Grand-Est region. For all levels and suitable for beginners.
20:30 – 22:00: Open Floor - a dance jam where one practices freely and dance to House music. It’s a “safe space” where amateurs and professionals come together and share a friendly moment together, sometimes with a DJ.

- Thu 7 March 2024 @ 20:00: Hip Hop Dance (open floor)
Open Floor Hip Hop is a free dance space where we practice freestyle Hip Hop. This style of dance finds its roots in the Afro and Latin American neighbourhoods of New York in the 1980s. Today, it is the most popular style due to its presence in the biggest international competitions. It is a free and spontaneous dance which nevertheless relies on very precise codes. Organised by KnowEdge Asbl, the event is held in French and English every Thursday; for all levels (12+).
