Following their losses to Japan (3-11), Scotland (12-3) and Slovenia (11-2) on Saturday afternoon, the Luxembourg team went on to suffer three more defeats yesterday at the hands of their "simply more professional" rivals (according to Curling Luxembourg's Alex Benoy) Turkey (3-10), Italy (1-14) and Ireland (2-10).

Their match against Chinese Taipei this morning will be the Luxembourg team's last chance to secure a play-off spot at the championships.
