On Wednesday 23 April 2025, the Luxembourg Curling Union announced the women’s national team that will represent Luxembourg at the 2025 European Curling Championships in Östersund, Sweden.

The team, which will make its international debut at the championship from Saturday 26 April to Thursday 1 May 2025, comprises five athletes: Virginie Hansen (Fourth and skip), Shiori Kuboki (Third and vice-skip), Betty Spurgeon (Second), Maja Gildhoff Bjerg-Petersen (Lead) and Carole Remesch (Alternate). The national team coach is Canadian Rick Collins.

Team Luxembourg will compete in C-Division – the third tier of the European competition – where they will face five opponents: Finland, Slovakia, Belgium, Israel, Ukraine and Spain. The top two teams at the end of the tournament will earn promotion to the B-Division.

According to the Luxembourg Curling Union, Finland and Spain appear to be the favourites, while the remaining teams are considered to be at a similar level, each with potential to contend for the bronze medal.

Sunday 27 April 2025: Slovakia vs Luxembourg (09:00);  Belgium vs Luxembourg (18:00);

Tuesday 29 April 2025: Israel vs Luxembourg (13:30);

Wednesday 30 April 2025: Ukraine vs Luxembourg (08:00); Spain vs Luxembourg (16:00);

Thursday 1 May 2025: Semifinals (10:00); Gold and Bronze finals (15:00).
