Luxembourg's national curling team has suffered three defeats at the start of this year's World Mixed Curling Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland.

The World Mixed Curling Championship 2019 opened the new world curling season on Saturday morning at Curl Aberdeen. 

In the afternoon session on 12 October 2019, Luxembourg played against its rival teams in Group D. In the end, Japan defeated Luxembourg 11-3 after six ends. The Luxembourg team also lost 3-12 to Scotland and 2-11 to Slovenia.

The national team remains optimistic for a first victory in the next four games.
