Nosbaum Reding Announces Tung-Wen Margue's 'Touch the sky' Exhibition

Nosbaum Reding Gallery in Luxembourg-Ville has announced the opening of Tung-Wen Margue's solo exhibition “Touch the sky” on Wednesday 7 October 2026 at 18:00.

The event will take place in the presence of the artist. The exhibition presents a new stage in the work of painter Tung-Wen Margue, whose “Moonshake” series develops themes already anticipated in his earlier series “A Scenography for the End of Time”, depicting a planet under threat of extinction.

The landscapes become lunar, with primordial rock bearing witness to the passage of millennia and carrying within it the memory of water, sediments and strata recalling ancient lands. According to the gallery, the works reflect on the fragility of the times in which people are living, between dystopia and reality.

In the “Moonshake” series of paintings, Tung-Wen Margue offers his vision of the world, at times lucid and at times dreamlike. Colours appear to emerge from the earth, rock and minerals with particular intensity, inspired by the Pyrenean marbles characteristic of the Couserans region.

The exhibition will remain on display at Nosbaum Reding Gallery until Saturday 7 November 2026.
