Rosa Lëtzebuerg asbl has announced it will host the photographic exhibition Minha Querida (“My Dear One”), by Nuria R Gomes from Friday 29 May to Tuesday 7 July 2026 at the Rainbow Center Luxembourg in Luxembourg-Ville.
According to the hosts, the exhibition explores themes of memory, diaspora, family archives and belonging through analogue photography, domestic materials and archival fragments. Drawing from her Brazilian family history, Nuria R Gomes creates an intimate reflection on inherited memory and the reconstruction of emotional spaces.
“Minha Querida speaks to the children of diaspora, to those who inherit fragmented memories and distant histories, and who carry archives of loved ones far away, and to anyone who understands that family is built not only through blood, but also through care, memory, and emotional continuity. It is an exhibition for those who remember, search, mourn, reconstruct and love,” said the organisers.
The official opening of the exhibition will take place at 18:30 on Friday 29 May.
