Costantini group, one of Luxembourg’s leading construction companies, recently celebrated its 50th anniversary at the Kulturfabrik in Esch-sur-Alzette, in the presence of Luxembourg’s Minister of the Economy, Lex Delles.

The company, which today employs 850 people compared to 300 in 2008 and reports an annual turnover of €210 million, used the occasion to outline its future ambitions. According to Costantini, recent years have seen expansion into carpentry, timber construction, roofing, metalwork, surveying and demolition, alongside involvement in large-scale public projects such as the Luxembourg tram line and the Saint-Symphorien Stadium in Metz. Despite a challenging market environment, the group underlined its resilience through diversification and cautious investment strategies.

Marking its 50th anniversary, the group also expressed its ambitions for the future, with the Board of Directors intending to continue Costantini’s growth to reach 1,000 employees and an annual turnover of €250 million in the coming years.

The Board of Directors, still chaired by Renato Costantini, son of the company’s founder, explained that a Supervisory Board has been set up to define strategy and support the Executive Committee in business development. The Supervisory Board includes three shareholders, former members of the Executive Committee, who have shifted to more strategic functions.

Meanwhile, the Executive Committee has been strengthened under Christophe Dardenne, with new members Jérôme Cottet Dumoulin, David Hallot, Jean-Marie Becker, Isabelle Monties-Oliger, Tony Roger, Olivier Touchet, Olivier Champenois and Stéphane Courte joining the team.
