The Luxembourg construction firm Wiesen-Piront is celebrating its 35th anniversary of activities in the Grand Duchy.
Operating from Bridel and Weiswampach, the firm employs 180 people and had a turnover of €40m last year. Within its 35 years it has built 1,500 houses, of which 250 are low energy consumption, and 800 apartments.
The family firm, founded in 1980 by Rainer Piront and Helmut Wiesen, is currently managed by Frank Wagner and Rainer Piront.
In 2017, the general standard in construction will become Class AAA and consumption will be reduced to a level below 22KW/m2 per year. To achieve these goals, high quality products are needed that guarantee a perfect construction seal. To this end the company is searching for the latest generation of brand products which are more and more efficient.
