The Grand Ducal Police have reported that on Wednesday 2 July 2025, at approximately 09:00, a serious work accident was reported to the police in Foetz.
The accident saw a heavy roll of paper fall on a worker and, despite emergency medical care, the 51-year-old man from France succumbed to his injuries.
The Inspectorate of Labour and Mines (ITM) and a police forensics team were despatched to the scene to determine the cause of the accident.
