The Luxembourg-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce (LUCC) asbl has announced that it is organising a second edition of its Luxembourg-Ukraine Business Forum at the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg-Kirchberg on Tuesday 21 May 2024.

This full-day event (starting with registration at 09:00) takes the form of a conference on "Ukraine's EU Accession - Outlook and Opportunities". According to the organisers, the conference will delve into the following topics: achievements made by Ukraine in this context to date; exploring the bottom-line impact for investors; understanding how accession affects risk and expected returns; current efforts to ensure a favourable investment climate for the future; identifying and overcoming the main challenges.

Speakers at this event include: Vsevolod Chentsov, Head of Mission of Ukraine to the European Union; Isabel Wiseler-Lima, Luxembourg MEP, member of the European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs; Gabriel Blanc, Team Leader fpr Reconstruction of Ukraine at the European Commission; Orest Tokač, Policy Coordinator for Relief & Reconstruction at the Ukraine Service of the European Commission; Alberto Fernández-Díez, Head of Trade and Economic Section at EU Delegation to Ukraine.

The first Luxembourg-Ukraine Business Forum on the "Rapid Recovery of Ukraine" took place at the Abbaye de Neumünster in January 2023.
