BEE SECURE is an initiative of the Luxembourg government, coordinated by the National Youth Service (SNJ), operated by the SNJ and the Kanner-Jugendtelefon (KJT), in partnership with the Ministry of the Economy, the Ministry of Family, Integration and the Greater Region, SECURITYMADEIN.LU, the Lëtzebuerg Police as well as the General Prosecutor's Office and co-financed by the European Commission.

BEE SECURE aims to promote a safer, responsible and positive use of new information technologies among citizens. BEE SECURE is aimed at the general public, but mainly targets young people. Parents, teachers and educators, who are important reference persons for children and young people, constitute a second priority target audience. In recent years, BEE SECURE has also developed a third pillar which continues to grow, targeting seniors (with the site www.silversurfer.lu).
