The National Library of Luxembourg (BnL) is organising several introductory workshops to support users in their online research.

On 1 April 2019, the BnL began the relocation of its physical collections to its new building in Luxembourg-Kirchberg. Whilst access to these collections will be limited during this move, the BnL's digital resources will remain accessible 24/7. This digital offer brings together 620,000 e-books of all kinds, 77,800 e-journals, 390 databases and over 1,800,000 digitised pages from eluxemburgensia.

In order to help users with these digital resources, the BnL is offering the following workshops:

- Workshop 1: Ebooks.lu - learn how to use them. This workshop is specifically dedicated to finding ebooks on the ebooks.lu platform. Participants will learn how to find the most relevant books, how to download them correctly and how to best manage their digital library. For this workshop, participants are requested to bring their own reading light or tablet. The workshop will be held on four separate occasions on 25 April (12:30 - 13:30) in Luxembourgish/German, 6 May (12:30 - 13:30) in French, 8 May (17:30 - 18:30) in English and 16 May 2019 (17:30 - 18:30) in Luxembourgish/German.

- Workshop 2: Who seeks, finds - a-z.lu and the digital resources of the BnL. In this workshop, participants will discover the BnL's thousands of digital resources through the search engine a-z.lu. They will learn how to best use this platform and access the resources they need. The workshop will be held on 25 April (17:30 - 18:30) in French, 6 May (17:30 - 18:30) and 8 May (12:30 - 13:30) in Luxembourgish/German and on 16 May 2019 (12:30 - 13:30) in French.

Interested persons can register for the workshops via email: info@bnl.etat.lu (specify date and time of session).
