The guest speakers for the Manufuture manufacturing conference, taking place on 23 and 24 November 2015, were today announced.
The Manufuture event is held every two years, considered as a key European event on manufacturing. Around 600 participants are expected to attend the 2015 event, where they will discover more information on topics of strategic importance for future challenges of the manufacturing industry and develop recommendations for national and European policy makers.
Organised under the auspices of the Luxembourg Presidency of the Council of the EU, Manufuture 2015 will compare manufacturing research and development progress in Europe with its global competitors; outline the conditions needed for successfully reindustrialising Europe; and identify and promote new policy instruments, business models, support mechanisms and technologies.
The keynote speakers were today announced as the following:
