Luxembourgish Prime Minister, Xavier Bettel and Minister of Cooperation and Humanitarian Action for Luxembourg, Romain Schneider, have announced they will be attending Africa Day 2015 on 8 and 9 July 2015, organised by the European Investment Bank (EIB).
The conference is aimed at CEOs ad CFOs of European and African companies, in order to facilitate the exchange of best business practices on the African continent. European Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, Phil Hogan, and President of the African Development Bank, Donald Kaberuka, will also be in attendance.
At the conference, held under the Luxembourg Presidency of the Council of the EU and the European Year for Development, Xavier Bettel will deliver a keynote address at the opening dinner on July 8th and Romain Schneider will speak at the opening session on 9 July.
The topics on the agenda will include the opportunities and necessary investments needed in Africa, as well as how plans of action and the development of financial institutions may stimulate sustainable growth and funds in the region.
