Last month, La Belle Etoile invited customers to bring back their old dishes in exchange for €1 per 2kg and then re-sold them at €5 per kilo, as a result of which they successfully raised more than €9,000 for the Luxembourg Red Cross HARIKO project in Bonnevoie.
More than 4,000kg of old dishes were re-sold.
HARIKO is a hub for disadvantaged young people of 12 to 26 years of age, creating a space for them to share, express themselves and learn at artist-run workshops.
