On Monday 7 September 2015, Anne Houllard was appointed alderman functions of the commune of Steinfort by ministerial order.
In the presence of Luxembourg Minister of the Interior, Dan Kersch, Anne Houllard took the oath of Article 6 of the amended municipal law of 13 December 1988, declaring:
"I swear loyalty to the Grand Duke, to observe the Constitution and the laws of the country, to fulfil with zeal, accuracy, integrity and impartiality the office entrusted to me".
Marie-Paule Parisot, Senior Editor at the Ministry of the Interior, was also in attendance to assist with the swearing-in ceremony.
