The Irish Club of Luxembourg has announced that it is organising a cinema outing to the British & Irish Film Festival on Tuesday 17 September 2019.

This year's British & Irish Film Festival, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, showcases six Irish feature films, with the supernatural comedy "Extra Ordinary" opening the festival on Friday evening - the same evening as it opens in Ireland.

The Irish Club is organising an outing to the "Aviation Documentary Double Bill" the following Tuesday 17 September at the Cinémathèque in Luxembourg-ville. This double bill features two Irish documentaries: "Alcock & Brown, the True Story", showing at 18:30, and "The Man Who Wanted To Fly", at 20:30. Directors Kevin Glynn and Frank Shouldice will be in attendance, respectively. Tickets cost €15 for the two screenings, with surprises promised for all.

Those wishing to join the Irish Club at this cinema outing should send an e-mail to Fiona Mulhern at fiona.mulhern@gmail.com; purchase your tickets directly on luxembourg-ticket.lu.
