Stëmm vun der Strooss, a local non-profit organisation which supports people experiencing homelessness and vulnerable members of society, has reported that it recently received a donation from Golding Capital Partners (Luxembourg) SA.
As part of the Summer Challenge organised by Golding Capital Partners, those responsible decided to support the work of Stëmm vun der Strooss. The firm raised a total of €2,500 for the non-profit organisation.
As reported by Stëmm vun der Strooss, Golding Capital Partners has anchored sustainability in its corporate strategy, with social commitment representing a central component of this. This idea was reflected in the Summer Challenge, in which employees deliberately avoided using CO2-emitting vehicles and came to the office by foot and/or bicycle in order to collect as many kilometres as possible for a good cause. Golding has converted these kilometres into a donation.
The cheque was officially handed over on Wednesday 18 December 2024 at the Stëmm headquarters in Luxembourg-Hollerich (7 Rue de la Fonderie), in the presence of Golding Capital Partners Managing Director Lukas Eckhardt and Senior Associates Sandy Thier and Felix Kipper, who collected the most kilometres during the Summer Challenge. Stëmm vun der Strooss Director Alexandra Oxacelay welcome them and gave them direct insight into the activities and projects of the non-profit.
The donation, as previous ones, will enable the financing of 500 sleeping bags.
