Luxembourg Accueil has announced the launch of a new recipe book, La Faim des Haricots (Hunger for Beans), in aid of the organisation Femmes en Détresse.

Described as "a solidarity-driven, participatory and delicious book", it contains more than 100 recipes in both French and English.

Luxembourg Accueil is an association that welcomes newcomers and those who wish to discover the Grand Duchy, with the aim of fostering integration and friendships. According to the association, the recipe book celebrates the culinary and cultural diversity of its members:  "It's a bridge between cultures and hearts. Each page reflects the values of mutual aid, sharing and solidarity that unite Luxembourg Accueil's members".

La Faim des Haricots also includes exclusive contributions from Chef François Jagut, recently named Chef of the Year 2025, and Anne Knepper, awarded Young Chef of the Year 2025, and is supported by Laurent Fery, Director of Gault & Millau Luxembourg.

Golden Tickets have been hidden in two of the 500 copies available to purchase. The finders of these tickets will win dinner for two at Les Roses restaurant, Casino 2000 in Mondorf-les-Bains. In addition, those who purchase the book at Luxembourg Accueil in Luxembourg-Grund, will receive a free trial class in one of the 51 activities the association offers.

All proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to Femmes en Détresse, a Luxembourgish non-profit organisation assisting women in difficult situations.

La Faim des Haricots will cost €25 and will be available to purchase at Luxembourg Accueil centre in Luxembourg-Grund (10 Bisserwee). Copies are also available for pre-order at: https://en.luxembourgaccueil.lu/product-page/livre-test
