LUkraine asbl, a non-profit organisation representing Luxembourg's Ukrainian community and supporting Ukraine amid Russian military aggression, has announced it will host a fundraising car rally on Saturday 23 August 2025, at Parking Boulevard Konrad Adenauer in Luxembourg-Kirchberg.

Scheduled to take place the day before Ukraine’s independence day, the organisation invites participants to “join our car rally as part of our ongoing fundraising campaign to support Ukrainian defenders” and describe the event as “a symbolic drive of unity and freedom - and a visible way to stand with those who protect it.”

The rally will commence at 14:30 from the meeting point at Parking Boulevard Konrad Adenauer (Luxembourg-Kirchberg) and will be followed by an informal community gathering to celebrate Ukraine’s independence day.

Registration for each car is a donation of €20 or more. Donations and registration can be completed at: https://community.lukraine.org/project/independencerally

The organisers have announced that donations will go towards pickup trucks for the “Kraken unit” - a special operations group that “plays a vital role in Ukraine’s defence”.
