Luxembourg flag carrier Luxair has announced the launch of its first "Ugly Christmas Sweater" for a charitable cause.
Luxair has jumped on the "ugly Christmas sweater" (or "jumper") trend to raise money for Kriibskrank Kanner Foundatioun, a local charitable organisation supporting children with cancer. All profits from the sale of these festive jumpers will be dedicated to the Kriibskrank Kanner Foundatioun's cause.
These exclusive Christmas jumpers will be on sale (for €26.90 each) in the Kirchberg and Cloche d'Or shopping centres on the weekend of 9 to 10 December 2023. Luxair will also use this occasion as an opportunity to raise awareness of this charitable cause.
The Luxair stand can be found in the Kirchberg shopping centre on Saturday 9 December and in the Cloche d'Or shopping centre on Sunday 10 December 2023. In addition to the Auchan hypermarkets, the Luxair Travel Stores in Luxembourg Airport and in Munsbach will be selling the jumpers.
For more than three decades, the Kriibskrank Kanner Foundatioun has offered support to families with children battling cancer. Its multidisciplinary team provides comprehensive support from initial diagnosis through treatment and remission. Services include administrative and financial assistance, psychological and social support and educational activities.
