Global Facilities S.A., a property management company based in Esch-sur-Alzette, has announced its acquisition of Concorde Gestion Sàrl, the company which manages the City Concorde Lifestyle Center in Bertrange.
The activities of Concorde Gestion include the technical and infrastructural operation of the shopping centre as well as the services and management of the rental charges of around 100 stores and boutiques. The company employs ten people.
With this acquisition, which was finalised on 26 January 2022, Global Facilities has become the sole partner of Concorde Gestion Sàrl, which will continue its activities in the same way, albeit with a change of management. Max Koster will pass the torch onto Christophe Jacob, Director of Global Facilities, and Mr. Christian Riemann, Manager of Global Facilities.
Built in May 1974 and owned by the Bram Koster family, the City Concorde centre in Bertrange features a premium shopping mall with brands such as Cora, Bram, RV Chaussures and Asport, as well as various restaurants and a fitness centre.
Max Koster, Manager of Concorde Gestion, emphasised: “This operation is the result of our desire to focus on the development of real estate potential by selling management and daily operation activities to a third party. We have complete confidence in Global Facilities S.A., a long-standing partner, to ensure continuity of service while respecting the family values of our group".
Global Facilities S.A. is a Luxembourgish company, founded in 2001, which offers comprehensive property and facility management solutions in three areas: audit and consultancy, technical management of buildings and services. The company's 160 employees work across more than one million square metres for more than 70 different customers.
