The British Chamber of Commerce for Luxembourg (BCC) will hold a members-only event dedicated to "Navigating the Scale vs Talent Retention Challenge" on Thursday 5 February 2026 at the Luxembourg School of Business (LSB) at the Technopolis Campus in Cloche d'Or, from 18:00.
According to the BCC, organisations today face growing pressure to scale rapidly - driven by technology, market competition and margin demands. At the same time, talent markets remain tight, employees face rising uncertainty about the relevance of their skills and many experience reduced purpose or opportunity during transformation. These converging trends are colliding with other fundamental factors such as i) efficiency-led scaling while hiring slows, ii) automation and AI are re-shaping our workforce roles and skills while reducing demand for routine skills and narrowing career paths, and iii) employees report lower engagement, reduced sense of purpose and few opportunities for development.
An experienced panel of speakers, spanning both the people and corporate perspectives, will explore how leaders can navigate these tensions constructively. According to the organisers, the speakers' experience in leading and advising on strategic organisation transformations, people coaching, talent management and development and scaling businesses will offer the audience insights to the considerations business leaders and people managers must understand and to which they must adapt.
Tarne Bevan, Executive Director at GenII Management Company Luxembourg SARL, will moderate the discussion, featuring: Brendan Coyne, Global Human Resources Director at Gcore; Alan Picone, Partner at KPMG; Audrey Jeanrond, Leadership and Executive Coach at BeBest Consulting; and Christian Borner, Luxembourg Country Head at UBS.
The evening will begin at 18:00 with registration. The event is scheduled to begin at 18:30. The evening will close out with networking over drinks and nibbles.
