At its 'Training Awards' ceremony held last week, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) brought together 200 of the company's internal trainers to thank them for their contribution.

Nicolas Lefèvre, partner responsible for PwC's Academy, thanked the employees who used their expertise in client training throughout the year.

"The success of PwC's Academy is intrinsically linked to the commitment of our experts who are passionate about training and who share their enthusiasm in courses oriented to the acquisition of skills in the field," explained Nicolas Lefèvre. "Our trainers trainers have succceeded in exceeding the limits of their function as experts in popularising their specialisations among varied publics."

The PwC Academy aims to offer both technical and behavioural training, with 200 courses provided in 2015 through 186 PwC Luxembourg employees. Topics covered range from the financial and non-financial sector to social networks in business.

"Our internal trainers have been able to use the experience in their area of expertise in courses dedicated to clients," continued Nicolas Lefèvre. "They added an educational approach to their recognised technical expertise in order to explain occasionally complex subjects, whilst remaining attentive to the needs of their audience."

All participants were presented with an award for their commitment following the ceremony.
