Next week at an apiary in Brandenbourg, Luxembourg's Minister of Agriculture, Viticulture and Consumer Protection, Fernand Etgen, together with representatives of the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology, will reveal the results of the BeeFirst research project on pesticide residues in pollen harvested by bees.
In addition, representatives of the Varroa Sensitive Hygiene project will present details of the project for the genetic improvement of bees, aimed at making them more tolerant to their main parasitic enemy.
