On Friday 28 July 2017, Luxembourg's Prime Minister and Minister of Culture, Xavier Bettel, and the Secretary of State for Economy, Francine Closener, attended a presentation of the Minett Tour organised by the Regional Tourist Office, at Fond-de-Gras, between Fond-de-Gras an Rodange and Differdange.

The Minett Tour, a 35-kilometre itinerary linking five sites in the region with different themes, presents the past, current and future of the history of the Luxembourg steel industry to both young and old-age visitors.

The route of the tour consists of Minett Park at Fond-de-Gras, the Cité des Sciences and blast furnaces in Esch-Belval, the Cockerill Mine Museum, the National Iron Mines Museum of Luxembourg and the Documentation Center on Human Migration and makes it possible to give visibility to the heritage of the terres rouges region in the south-west of the Grand Duchy.
