On Friday 15 July 2016, the prizes of the BEEF’N’BEER contest were presented at Cactus INN at La Belle Etoile shopping centre in Betrange.
The winner, Patricia Cucchi, of the first prize in the contest was awarded a Méga Weber Grill along with a barbecue dinner party organised by Cactus. In addition to this, five SMEG fridges, ten Philipps Perfect Draft beer pumps and fifteen Smokey Joe Weber grills were given away to other winners of the contest.
From 21 June to 3 July, a staggering 750,000 contest entry forms were deposited in ballot boxes placed in various Cactus supermarkets and at the Cactus stand at the Foire Agricole in Ettelbruck. A total of 31 participants, randomly selected, won a prize each.
