On Tuesday, police carried out a renewed search of the "Linger Weieren" in their search for the 6 week-old baby Bianka Bisdorff.
Two flood pumps from the municipality of Echternach, which can each carry 1,080 m3 of water per hour, were deployed since early morning to remove the water so that the police can look for new evidence in the missing persons case.
At 18:00 the search was suspended without result and will continue tomorrow.
The Water Authority was present throughout the duration of the action and supervised the recovery and removal of the pond's fish to be resettled in another pond in the area.
