The Ville de Luxembourg that resurfacing work will be carried out on the Avenue Gaston Diderich and Boulevard Grande-Duchesse Charlotte, both in Luxembourg's city centre, this Saturday 18 and sunday 19 July 2015.
The roadworks to remove the existing surface will be carried out between between 04:00 and 12:00 on Saturday, during which the Avenue du X Septembre will be partly closed to road traffic.
The new asphalt surfae will be laid on Saturday 18 July from 16:00 and the road marking work will be carried out on Sunday 19 July 19 between 06:00 and 16:00. during these periods, the avenue Gaston Diderich will be closed to all traffic, as will nearby streets, apart from access to residents, suppliers and visitors.
The Boulevard Grande-Duchesse Charlotte will be closed to traffic between Place Winston Churchill and rue Pierre d'Aspelt, and Avenue du X Septembre will be closed between rue Albert 1er and Boulevard Grande-Duchesse Charlotte from Saturday, 18 July at 21:00 until Sunday 19 July at 16:00.
The Traffic Service of the Ville de Luxembourg will implement a series of diversions which will be clearly marked. Bus lines will also be diverted during these roadworks.
