Luxembourg Art Week, the international contemporary art fair in Luxembourg, will celebrate its tenth anniversary from Friday 22 to Sunday 24 November 2024.

As reported by the organisers, the opening of the fair will be preceded by a series of invitation-only events starting on Wednesday 20 November 2024, including the Collectors' Dinner, the VIP and Professionals Day and the Preview. This new iteration of the event aims to "leave a lasting impression" with its thematical focus on conviviality and proximity.

Since its inception in 2015, Luxembourg Art Week has worked towards establishing itself as an "accessible, cosmopolitan and forward-looking" regional fair with a European vision. It showcases both local and international players, fostering transnational exchanges and projects among artists, collectors, gallerists and institutions.

With over 22,000 visitors, the fair has built its reputation on the European art fair circuit thanks to its presence in the regional artistic and cultural landscape and ongoing dialogue with neighbouring countries.

For this anniversary edition, Luxembourg Art Week promises a more immersive and innovative experience, while further strengthening the ties between the local and international art scenes.

Alex Reding, Managing Director of Luxembourg Art Week, commented: "As we celebrate its tenth anniversary, Luxembourg Art Week would like to express its profound gratitude for the continuous support of all members of the artistic community and its various partners. The success and reputation we were able to secure in such a short time never ceases to amaze us. They are primarily based on the fact that it manages to federate the entire art scene, thus creating a dynamic and inclusive platform that is able to attract attention to itself and, by extension, to the whole country. I believe this achievement is also a result of its focus on the well-being of exhibitors, the richness and diversity of its cultural events programme and the numerous moments of authentic sharing and conviviality it offers. With a team that is as eager as ever to come up with new ideas and develop the fair, the future is looking bright."

The fair has updated its visual identity to mark "a decade of change". The central element of this new identity, led by Luxembourg-based design studio Designbureau, is the "X", the Roman numeral both signalling the tenth anniversary edition and symbolising Luxembourg's position "on the geographical and cultural crossroads of Europe".

Luxembourg Art Week will take place once again in Glacis square in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg.
