Luxembourg's Ministry of Culture has announced that it is launching a call for applications for two creative workshops located in the annexes of the Château de Bourglinster (Bourglinster Castle).

As part of its mission to support the creation and professionalisation of artists, the Culture Ministry is launching a call for applications for the rental of two artist studios, located in the annexes of Bourglinster Castle. Available from July 2024 for a period of three years, the creative workshops at a monthly rent of €3/m2 aim to offer affordable workspaces with a surface area of 46.25 m2 to 53,75 m2 within a historic enclosure.

The rental of artist studios is aimed at individuals of legal age residing in the Grand Duchy and working in the creative industries (all artistic disciplines combined). Applications must be submitted by 10 June 2024.

The ministry added that the annexes of Bourglinster Castle have a multipurpose room of almost 100 m2, called "Open Space". which can be made available free of charge to artists residing in Luxembourg wishing to work on a specific artistic project for a defined period.

Since their inauguration in 2013, these spaces in the annexes of Bourglinster Castle have been managed by the Ministry of Culture. Designed as a crossroads for artistic creation and dissemination, they are aimed at encouraging exchanges and collaborations between artists across more than 860 m2 of creative spaces within the annexes.
