Luxair has confirmed that its flight LG655 to Ibiza returned to Luxembourg on Tuesday 12 August 2025 as a precautionary measure after a technical incident occurred during the flight.
In a statement issued on Tuesday evening, the airline said the Luxair De Havilland Q400 landed safely without further issues. Passengers were kept informed by the captain and crew, and flight safety was maintained at all times. Luxair added that it was taking care of affected customers at the airport.
A replacement flight was scheduled for the following morning (Wednesday 13 August 2025), with passengers in both Luxembourg and Ibiza receiving assistance from Luxair and LuxairTours teams.
The airline apologised for the inconvenience and thanked passengers for their understanding. It emphasised that while every effort is made to avoid disruptions, the safety of passengers and crew remains its top priority, and unforeseen events may occasionally affect operations.
