From 2 to 5 May 2019, Street Photography Luxembourg is organising the third edition of the Luxembourg Street Photography Festival (LSPF) at the Rotondes.

The Luxembourg Street Photography Festival has become, in just two editions, the must-attend event for all fans of street photography, a discipline that continues to grow in popularity around the globe.

This year's leading figure will be 94-year-old Sabine Weiss, one of the main representatives of French humanist photography in the lineage of Robert Doisneau, Willy Ronis and Édouard Boubat.

Preceding the festival will be a workshop on Saturday 27 April 2019, offering fans the opportunity to get advice on the practice of street photography in Luxembourg. The festival will then kick off with a group exhibition from 2 to 5 May, featuring works by members of the collective and invited photographers. These include Christian Aschman, Sven Becker, Marc Erpelding, Marc Wilwert and Nader Gholi Khan. The opening of the exhibition will take place on Thursday 2 May 2019 at 18:00 in the Gallery. Admission is free.

A "portfolio review" is then scheduled from 17:30 on Friday 3 May in the Gallery. This event offers interested persons to hear the opinion of the collective on a selection of their images. The session will be followed at 19:30 by a "Cameras and Beers", during which participants can continue to talk about photography whilst enjoying a drink.

This will be followed by a series of lectures on Saturday 4 May from 13:30 - 19:30 (Platform) with photographers Sabine Weiss (Switzerland), Pierre Gély-Fort (France), Cyrus Cornut (France) and Vanessa Winship (UK). The entrance fee for all conferences is €18. Tickets cost €10 for the Sabine Weiss lecture alone or €5 for each of the other conferences. Admission is free for children under 18. Saturday evening will see the "8th Slide Night", starting at 20:00. The event will feature a large screen projection of selected portfolios from public tenders.

The traditional "open wall", on which each visitor or spectator of the festival can hang one or more photos on the theme of street photography to be part of the collective exhibition at the Gallery, will also feature on this year's agenda.
