Luxembourg's Ministry of State has reported that Prime Minister Luc Frieden will attend the tribute ceremony which is being held in honour of the late Jacques Delors, former President of the European Commission, in Paris, France on Friday 5 January 2024.
Jacques Delors passed away on Wednesday 27 December 2023, aged 98. He was known as an influential figure in European integration and served as President of the European Commission between 1985 and 1995.
At the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron, Luxembourg's Prime Minister is among those attending Friday's tribute ceremony at the Hôtel des Invalides in Paris.
