On Monday 2 November 2026, the City of Luxembourg (VdL) announced that as a result of infrastructure on Rue des Muguets, traffic arrangements will be adapted from Thursday 5 November to Saturday 7 November 2026.
The VdL said that the work will take place on Rue des Muguets, near Rue des Marguerites, and will commence at 06:00 on Thursday until 18:00 on Saturday.
These works will involve a road closure on Rue des Muguets, along the section between Rue des Pâquerettes and the roundabout at the junction with Rue du Kiem and Boulevard Konrad Adenauer. Access will be maintained for residents and suppliers.
The following changes will also affect municipal bus services:
- Bus routes 12 and 83 will be diverted via Avenue John F. Kennedy. The Bleuets, Pâquerettes, Marguerites and Muguets stops will not be served in either direction. Towards Kirchberg (route 12) and towards Neudorf (route 83), the Labours Quai 1 stop will also not be served. Two temporary stops will be set up on the service road of Avenue John F. Kennedy.
- Bus route CN4 will be diverted via Avenue John F. Kennedy. The Muguets Quai 2, Marguerites Quai 2, Pâquerettes Quai 2 and Bleuets Quai 2 stops will not be served.
Please note that a N12 shuttle service will operate to ensure that the Weimershof neighbourhood remains served throughout the works.
