Luxembourg's Prime Minister Xavier Bettel and the Minister for Tourism and Minister for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs), Lex Delles, will visit Italy from Wednesday 26 to Friday 28 October 2022 as part of an economic and tourist promotion mission.
The agenda includes an interview with Stefano Bonaccini, President of the Emilia-Romagna region, in Bologna, as well as the opening of the "Emilia Romagna - Luxembourg Business Forum", which will allow Luxembourg and Italian SMEs to exchange on prospects of cooperation.
In order to promote the Grand Duchy as a tourist destination, the General Directorate for Tourism will organise the workshop "Inspiring Travel and Meeting Experiences in Luxembourg" focusing on both leisure and congress tourism, which will be aimed at key players in the tourism sector.
On the sidelines of these events, Minister Delles will have several interviews with major players in the tourism and SMEs sector of the Emilia-Romagna region.
Prime Minister Bettel's agenda will include an official visit to San Marino and an audience with the Pope in the Vatican.
