Luxembourg's Prime Minister, Xavier Bettel, is visiting Israel and Palestine from Sunday 11 to Tuesday 13 September.
On Monday, he visited the Hebrew University in Jerusalem along with Dr. Rainer Klump, the rector of the University of Luxembourg, where they met with the University Rector, Prof. Asher Cohen, and Yossi Gal, the vide-president of the university.
At the Yad Vashem Memorial (the Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem), PM Bettel had a guided tour, including the Romm of Names, and laid a wreath along with Simona Frankel, Ambassador of Israel to Belgium and Luxembourg, and Gilles Beschoor Plug, Ambassador of the Netherlands in Israel.
On Tuesday, PM Bettel visits Palestine.
