Luxembourg Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Jean Asselborn, is in Turkey today at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart, Feridun Hadi Sinirlioglu.
In addition to discussions with the Turkish Minister for Foreign Affairs, Minister Asselborn will receive the opportunity to meet the Prime Minister of Turkey, Ahmet Davutoglu.
The meeting will follow a series of visits Jean Asselborn has conducted recently to discuss the refugee crisis with various political figures, including Czech Foreign Minister Lubomir Zaoralek and Ukrainian President Petro Porochenko. As well as exchanging views on the situation of Syrian refugees, the meeting in Turkey will address the EU's relations with the country as well as regional and international issues.
